U14(1) Boys make
Victorian Championships

In another unbelievable effort the Warriors have had their second team in as many years qualify for the State's top grade, the Victorian Championships. After the U12 Boys qualified for this grade last season the U14's have duplicated that effort. Even better they qualified in the first phase of grading.

To make the effort even more meritorious the team had to qualify despite losing power forward Naoum Lazis after only one match. The team contains four boys from last season's U12 VC squad so the signs are promising for this group of boys for continued VC qualifications.

The boys can now look forward to both an exciting and at the same time challenging season as they take on the best teams in the State.

Victorian Championships

Rep Academy Holiday Camp
January 16th to 24th

The Warriors will be holding a holiday camp for it's rep teams between Monday January 16th to Tuesday January 24th.

The camp is designed to dramatically advance the skill sets and knowledge of all participants through what is the equivalent of sevens weeks of training crammed into seven days.

This is why the camp is called the "Rep Academy Holiday Camp. The goal of the camp is to educate our players over a short period

Players who participate will be taken through a wide range of skills and program philosphies that build into the program they are being taught on a weekly basis throughout the season.

The camp is divided into morning sessions for our newer teams and players and afternoon ones for our more advanced teams.

There is little doubt that players and teams that participate properly through this camp will experience significant improvement. If you haven't registered yet, you can organise this by completing and enrolment form and forwarding it onto us.

Eltham Dandenong Tournament
January 26th to 29th

The Warriors Have entered 8 teams in the Eltham Dandenong Tournament.

These teams are:-

U14 Girls &
U12 Boys

This is a record number of teams and hopefully we will be able to continue with our outstanding success of the past two years where the club has won it's section four times.

The Tournament commence on Thursday 26th January and continues through to Sunday the 29th of January. The tournament has it's own webpage at

Costs for the weekend are: - Players$25.00 Spectators $10.00

Teams Managers should note that you need to collect ALL players tickets before thier first game so a tournament official can clip then either before your your first game or at half time of that game.

The Warriors are always on the lookout for coaches. With our impending move into GESAC in 2012 this effort has become even more important.

We are expecting a huge demand for our kids first programs and domestic competitions and will require a number of coaches for both. These are paid positions so why not work for the warriors and get some dollars for doing something you really would enjoys. Click on the above logo for further details abd contacts.

The Warriors are looking to recruit a great group of referees for our inaugral competitions to be conducted at GESAC in 2012. The Warriors will be providing great support and pay for people who want to make our referees group amongst the best in Melbourne.

You must be aged 14 and above to be a referee. We will provide training for people who are interested in refereeing but haven't taken the plunge previously
